Zoom Open House

On March 11, 2010, Zoom "reopened" its doors at our new location for our Corporate Headquarters Grand Opening & Technology Expo! The attendance was great, food was wonderful and the Kings players, Slamson and the Royal Court Dancers were a huge hit! You can even check out our new Zoom TV commercials (playing on our main page) recorded in the "Customer Testimonial Booth". After such a successful event we've finally settled into our new home. Now it's back to business!

Thank You to our sponsors!

We are here!

Finally all moved in and operational! It took quite a few employees and exponentially more hours to get everything moved from the old location on Business Park Drive in Sacramento, to the new building at 200 S. Harding Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678. Same great employees, same great service, same phone numbers, but a brand new, much larger home base to serve you from!

One more delay....

Ok, new date looks to be the 16th. The carpet wasn't ready and won't be in until the week of the 9th.

On a positive note, I was there earlier to speak with Roy from Protronics (our Avaya phone system vendor) and it looks like it is almost there. Cabinets were in, glass almost all set up. Matter of fact, the glass guy was putting the glass in on the demo room. Pretty exciting!!

More progress pics.

I stopped in yesterday to have a look at the network wiring, which is 90% in place, and decided to snap a few other pics for those of you who haven't had a chance to swing by. Nothing fancy, just a quick look.

November 2nd, 2009!

Well, looks like everything is finally in place and we will be in our new building starting November 2nd, 2009.

Finally, after 9 months of delays and changing target dates! The new address, for those of you who don't know already will be:

200 S. Harding Blvd
Roseville, CA 95678

New move is coming right along!

Wow! Lots of things going on in preparation for the new move to Roseville. The remaining permits were finally obtained and inside construction has been hammering along ever since. Sheetrock is up and it is starting to look like an office now. We also finally decided on a new Avaya IP Office system from Protronics. We looked at multiple vendors and phone systems. In the end we went with Protronics. The bid was quite the time consuming and eye opening experience, but all beneficial! Time very well spent. I just wish we could have made everyone happy.

We were also looking at partnering with a telecom broker/consultant and chose to go with Patrick Wefers over at Infinium Communications. We looked at either continuing to manage it ourselves or get some help, and due to the amount of time and hassle it always seems to be dealing with the phone companies, we opted for some help. We had a look at two other brokers, and in the end we felt that Infinium was the best fit for us.

And the last bit of info that I have for you today is a nice write-up that the Roseville Press-Tribune did for us. You can have a look at it HERE!

Our Sacramento Office is moving!

Yes, finally! We are moving to a new, much larger facility (60% larger!!) in Roseville to accommodate the tremendous growth that we have had, since becoming Zoom! Here are a few pics of the new location, in progress. Move in date is tentatively set for September 1. We'll try to keep you updated as construction nears completion.
